DJI Agras T30 payload weight vs flight time - real world numbers?

  • Members

I'm looking at getting an Agras T30 for our 150-acre corn operation. The specs show 18 minutes hover time with no payload, but I need real-world data on flight times with various spray loads.

Specifically interested in: actual flight time with 20L vs full 30L tank, how wind affects these numbers, and whether the GPS terrain following impacts battery drain significantly.

Also wondering about battery degradation - are you seeing the promised 1,000 charge cycles, or do they start dropping capacity earlier?

With my T30, I get about 10-12 minutes flight time with a full 30L load in calm conditions. At 20L, it's closer to 14-16 minutes. Wind over 15mph cuts that by 20-30% easily. GPS terrain following does

GPS terrain following does eat battery, but not as much as you'd think - maybe 1-2 minutes difference on hilly terrain.

Pro tip: rotate your battery sets and don't charge to 100% unless you're flying immediately.

One thing - cold weather kills battery performance. Lost 40% flight time spraying fungicide in 35?F temps last week.
