betafpv 25 cruiser vs mobula8 for indoor stuff, cant really decide

ok so i have a pretty small backyard and the field i normally fly at is closed for like the next month for some maintenance thing so ive been thinking about setting up some gates in my garage and just doing indoor flying to keep sharp. i currently fly a 3.5inch outdoors so im not totally new to smaller stuff but never done a dedicated indoor quad. looked at the betafpv 25 cruiser and the mobula8 and theyre kind of in different categories i think but both keep coming up when i search. the mobula is smaller obviously, whats the actual difference in how they fly in tight spaces, does the extra size of the 25 cruiser make it significantly harder to manage indoors. also curious if anyone has tuned either of these cause i heard betafpv prebuilts sometimes have weird filtering setups from factory that make the feed laggy or something like that

mobula8 for sure if your garage isnt massive. the 25 cruiser is fun but its surprisingly quick and in a tight space you will clip things constantly until you really dial in your muscle memory for the size. the mobula is just way easier to throw around in confined spaces, the lower thrust to weight on 1s means you have more time to react. ive flown both and the mobula just feels more appropriate for that kind of flying. re the betafpv filtering thing yeah ive noticed that too, there's some extra filtering in their defaults that kind of dulls the response a bit, worth going in and cleaning up the filter stack in betafpv if you care about crisp feel

tbh i think people way overthink the indoor quad thing. i fly my regular 3inch in my living room with props guards on and its fine lol. but if you want a dedicated thing the mobula is probaly the move yeah, ive seen people absolutely send it through tiny gaps with those things. one thing nobody mentions is the camera angle matters a lot for garage flying, factory angle on most of these tiny prebuilts is way to steep for slow technical flying so worth checking that first before you assume the tune is the problem if it feels weird
