so i took the mavic out last night just because i was bored, no plan, no shot list, just drove to the park and flew around for like 40 minutes. didnt record anything, just watched it on the screen. felt kinda nice honestly. do you guys ever do that or is it weird to just fly without any purpose

yeah i do this all the time lol. sometimes i just want to fly and i dont care about footage. honestly some of my best flying practice has been those sessions because im not stressed about getting the perfect shot or whatever

i mean thats basically how i started getting good at manual flying. just puttering around with no agenda. though i did crash into a tree once because i wasnt paying attention so maybe have some small amount of purpose haha
