litchi vs dronelink for waypoint missions ? anyone switched?

so ive been using litchi for probably two years now and its fine, does what i need, but ive been hearing a lot about dronelink lately and wondering if its actually worth switching or if its one of those things that sounds better on paper

main thing i do is real estate stuff and the occasional infrastructure inspection so i need reliable waypoints and good gimbal control during the mission, not just point A to point B. litchi handles it ok but the interface feels a bit dated and i had a weird issue last month where it lost the mission mid-flight and just hovered there, which was not great obviously

anyone actually run both and can compare? particularly curious about how dronelink handles the mission editor on mobile vs desktop because i do most of my planning in the field on an ipad

im still on litchi mostly because i have like three years of saved missions in there and dont really want to rebuild everything. probably not a helpful answer but just saying switching costs are real

switched from litchi to dronelink about eight months ago and honestly havent looked back. the mission editor on desktop is way more powerful once you get used to it, and the component system where you stack behaviors is a bit of a learning curve at first but once it clicks you can do stuff litchi just cant do natively

on ipad it works fine for reviewing and tweaking missions but i wouldnt want to build a complex inspection route from scratch on it. thats just me though. the one thing i miss from litchi is how fast it was to just throw together a quick orbit or waypoint path without thinking about it too hard, dronelink requires a bit more intention if that makes sense

the mid-flight mission loss thing you described sounds like a sync issue, i had something similar with litchi over 5.8ghz when there was interference, never figured out if it was the app or signal
