mini 4 pro vs air 3 ? which one would you actually buy

ok so ive been going back and forth on this for like three weeks now and i need someone to just help me make a decision. my budget is around 900-950 and both of these keep coming up whenever i search for anything. i mostly want to do landscape stuff, maybe some light travel vlogging, nothing crazy professional. i dont have any drones currently, this would be my first real one (had a tiny holy stone thing a few years ago, doesnt count).

the air 3 has dual cameras which sounds cool but honestly i dont know if id even use the tele lens that much. and the mini 4 pro is lighter so its in a lower regulatory category here in europe which actually matters to me since i want to fly in more places. but then i watched like 8 different youtube videos and half say get the air 3 and half say mini 4 pro so im basically where i started.

anyone actually fly both or switched from one to the other? just want a real opinion not a spec sheet

had the mini 3 pro before and upgraded to the mini 4 pro earlier this year and honestly for travel and landscapes it is hard to beat. the c1 classification in europe is a genuine quality of life thing

im kind of in the same boat as you lol, been looking at both for months. one thing i noticed is the mini 4 pro rc2 combo actually pushes close to your budget too so worth checking what controller come

had the mini 3 pro before and upgraded to the mini 4 pro earlier this year and honestly for travel and landscapes it is hard to beat. the c1 classification in europe is a genuine quality of life thing, like you said, opens up a lot of spots that would otherwise be a headache. image quality is really really good for the size.

that said i flew my buddys air 3 last month and the dual camera thing is more useful than i expected, especially the medium tele ? its not just a gimmick. if you mostly stay in one place and dont care about the weight and regs as much, air 3 is probably the better imaging tool overall. but for your use case, travelling around europe and doing landscapes, id probably lean mini 4 pro. less to think about legally and it fits in any bag.
