power loops finally clicked but now i cant stop doing them everywhere

so anyway i finally got it working after probably 3 weeks of trying. been doing them on the sim forever but translating to real life was a different thing entirely. kept either not committing enough on the dive or pulling out too early and it just looked like a lumpy oval in the footage.

what finally got it for me was someone in another thread saying to think of it as two separate moves ? the climb and the dive ? instead of one continuous motion. i dont know why that framing helped but it did. went out tuesday morning before work, did maybe 20 attempts, and suddenly it was just happening. still not super consistent but probably 7 out of 10 are looking clean now.

the problem is now every time i see a suitable gap or tree or anything i just want to loop it. went out to get some b-roll footage for a little edit i was making and came home with like 40 power loops and maybe 30 seconds of actual usable cinematic stuff. not sure this is the flex i thought it was

lol this is literally every freestyle pilot when they unlock a new trick. give it a couple weeks and the novelty wears off and you start actually thinking about when it adds something vs when youre just doing it to do it. or you dont and your whole channel becomes a power loop compilation, also valid

the two separate moves thing is actually a really good way to think about it, gonna try that. ive been stuck on the same problem for a while now where mine just look soft and uncommitted. i think i know what im doing wrong after reading this but we'll see. what throttle curve are you running btw, i feel like mine might be making the top of the loop harder to control than it should be
