mini 3 pro keeps drifting when i let go of sticks??

so ive had my mini 3 pro for about 3 months now and just recently started noticing that when i let go of the sticks it doesnt fully stop, it like slowly drifts for a second or two before actually hovering. it didnt use to do this i think. flying in a field yesterday and it nearly went into a treeline because i expected it to stop and it just... kept going a little.

its not super bad but its enough to freak me out. GPS signal seemed fine, was showing like 14 satellites. calibrated the IMU last week when i updated the firmware. anyone else had this or know what could cause it? wondering if its a stick calibration thing or something in the settings i accidentally changed

check your brake settings in the app, theres a slider for max brake angle under the advanced settings somewhere. also the RC wind resistance stuff can mess with how snappy it stops. but honestly 2 sec

I had the same thing and it turned out I was flying near some kind of interference, like there was a cell tower nearby and the GPS was technically showing locks but wasnt super stable. Moved to a diff

check your brake settings in the app, theres a slider for max brake angle under the advanced settings somewhere. also the RC wind resistance stuff can mess with how snappy it stops. but honestly 2 seconds of drift with 14 sats sounds more like the sticks themselves, you can recalibrate them in the controller settings menu. mine did something similar after i updated to one of the firmware versions last fall, recalibrating the sticks fixed it completely. just go slow through the process and make sure youre in a stable spot when you do it.

I had the same thing and it turned out I was flying near some kind of interference, like there was a cell tower nearby and the GPS was technically showing locks but wasnt super stable. Moved to a different spot and it was fine. Probably not your issue but worth trying somewhere else just to rule it out before you dig into settings.
