I'm torn between these two for landscape photography. The Mavic 4 Pro has that impressive 100MP sensor and 6K/60fps, but it's quite expensive and heavy. Meanwhile the Air 3S seems to offer amazing 4K video with great low-light performance thanks to its dual-camera setup.

For someone who shoots mostly stills with occasional video work, is the Mavic 4 Pro worth the extra cost? Or does the Air 3S deliver 90% of the performance at a much better price point?

Think of the Air 3S as a more affordable Mavic 3 Pro that's also more modern and in some ways actually better. It gets AI subject tracking, Waypoints, plus excellent battery life. Unless you specifically need that 100MP sensor, the Air 3S is the smarter buy.

I upgraded from Air 2S to Mavic 4 Pro and honestly... there's no single "best" drone - it depends on your budget and goals. The Air 3S produces stunning results for most people. Save the money and invest in better post-processing skills instead!

Because of the Mavic 4 Pro's weight, you'll need to register it with the FAA, while the Air 3S might fall under different regulations depending on your location. Factor in the regulatory differences too - sometimes the "lesser" drone is actually more convenient for where you want to fly.
