so ive been flying a Mini 2 for about a year and a half and honestly loved it but kept bumping into the sensor limitations in tricky lighting situations. a buddy of mine had the EVO Lite+ and let me fly it for an afternoon a few months back and i was pretty blown away by the 1/1.9" sensor on that thing, especially at dusk. anyway i finally pulled the trigger last week during a sale and have about 4 flights on it now.
first impressions ? the app (Autel Sky) is... okay. not as polished as DJI Fly but it gets the job done and ive had zero connectivity issues so far which i know some people have complained about. the image quality in low light is genuinely better than what i was getting with the Mini 2, no contest there. footage at golden hour is really nice and i like that i dont have to fight the camera as much to get something usable.
one thing that surprised me is how much bigger it feels in the hand. i knew the specs but still. folded up its fine but unfolded its just a noticeably chunkier machine. not a complaint really just an adjustment. also the stock ND filters it came with are pretty thin quality, already looking at the Freewell set for this thing.
anyone else running this bird? curious what settings people are dialing in for video, i've been shooting in Autel's log profile but still figuring out the right exposure comp
