ran a grid mission yesterday over an agricultural field, maybe 80 acres, and when i processed it in DroneDeploy like half the field looks perfect and then the northwest corner is just a mess. smearing, misaligned tiles, looks like something out of a bad google maps screenshot from 2009. the rest of the orthomosaic is clean enough that i dont think its a camera settings thing.

i was flying at 200ft with 75/75 overlap which should be plenty. wind was picking up a bit toward the end but nothing crazy, maybe 12-15mph gusts. M2P with the stock camera. i dont really know where to start debugging this.

the wind gusts at the end is probably your culprit, or at least part of it. if those gusts hit during the northwest corner passes the camera can get enough movement between shots to mess with the feature matching during photogrammetry. 75/75 overlap is good but if there's motion blur or the gimbal is working hard to compensate you lose the texture consistency that the stitching algorithm needs.

also worth checking ? was the sun angle low when you got to that corner? long shadows or high contrast lighting from a low sun can cause exactly this kind of localized stitching failure because the scene looks dramatically different between overlapping images. id look at the exif timestamps and cross-reference with where you were in the flight pattern.

had somthing similar happen on a mine site survey last year and it turned out one of my image quality settings had gotten reset somehow, camera was doing auto-exposure and the northwest corner happened to have a big reflective water feature that was throwing the exposure all over the place between frames. probably not your issue but worth pulling up the raw images from that area and just looking at them manually before you spend too much time in the software.
