so theres a fly-in about 2 hours from me next month and ive never been to one of these things before. not sure what to expect honestly. like do people just show up and fly or is there more organized stuff happening? i fly a mini 3 pro mostly and feel like ill be the only one there without some giant freestyle rig or racing quad. dont want to feel out of place

dude just go, seriously. i was nervous about my first one too and thought everyone would have like crazy expensive setups but honestly its a real mix. saw everything from tiny whoops to massive octocopters at the last one i went to. nobody cares what you fly. half the fun is just talking to people who actually get it instead of explaining to your family why you spent $800 on a drone lol

depends on the event tbh. some are pretty casual, show up fly around chat. others have more structured stuff like demo flights or vendor tables. id check if they have a facebook group or something, usually they post the schedule there. bring extra batteries thats the main thing
