oh i definately do this more than i should. the light before a storm is genuinely the best light you can get and i keep telling myself the clouds will hold off for ten more minutes. usually they do. o

I mean technically most of these things aren't rated for any water exposure so you're gambling every time. that said I've definitely flown in light drizzle and nothing happened. I just wouldn't do it
not asking if its safe i know its not ideal, more like... do you ever just kind of push it anyway. i was out tuesday and the sky looked totally fine except for this one part and i got maybe 8 minutes of footage before it started spitting and i had to bring it back fast. the footage actually looked incredible though, that pre-storm light is something else. my mini 3 pro seemed totally fine but im not trying to test its limits on purpose. just curious if other people make these calls on the fly (pun or whatever)
