so i heard through the local facebook group theres a casual fly-in happening saturday morning at lakewood, supposed to start around 9am but you know how these things go. im bringing my mini 3 and maybe the fpv quad if i feel like it. anyone else from here planning to show up? last time i went to one of these there was maybe 8 or 9 people and it was honestly way more fun than i expected, just chilling and watching each other fly, someone brought donuts lol

yeah i saw that post, im gonna try to make it out there. been wanting to get more involved with the local community for a while now but the weekends always fill up fast. do you know if its a sanctioned AMA event or just a casual thing? not that it really matters i just like to know before i show up

i went to the one they did back in march and it rained halfway through, whole thing kind of fell apart after that. hope you guys have better luck, lakewood usually has decent open space at least
