been grounded for like 3 weeks now, its either too cold or too windy or both and im going a little crazy. been rewatching old footage which is fun for maybe 10 minutes and then i just feel sad about not flying. also been looking at gear way too much online which is dangerous for my wallet. curious what other people do to stay sane during the off season if theres such a thing where you live

i just fly anyway tbh. got the mavic 3 and as long as its above freezing and the wind isnt insane im out there. yeah your flight time takes a hit but you warm the bateries up first and its fine. life is short

I've been using a simulator on my laptop, Liftoff mostly. its not the same at all but it keeps my thumb muscle memory from going completely to zero. also been doing a deep dive into color grading youtube tutorials which honestly has improved my edits more than i expected so maybe the downtime isnt totally wasted
