had almost the exact same issue and it turned out my phone case was partially blocking the antenna on the controller mount which sounds dumb but it was causing all kinds of weirdness. took the case of
this has been bugging me for a while and i cant figure out if its a settings thing or something wrong with my unit. im flying in a pretty open area, not a lot of buildings or interference that i can see, but i start getting signal warnings and the video feed gets choppy at distances that seem way too short. like im talking maybe 800m-1km and its already struggling. from what ive read it should be doing way more than that.
im using the RC-N1 controller that came with it, phone is a fairly recent android if that matters. ive tried repositioning the antennas on the controller which helped a tiny bit but not much. just wondering if anyone else has had this or if theres something obvious im missing before i send it in.
