so ive been using just the original DJI shoulder bag that came with my fly more combo and honestly its fine for throwing in the car but i have a work trip coming up and i need to bring the drone and i really dont trust it as a carry-on, feels like nothing is actually secured in there and the foam is kind of a joke

been looking at the Nanuk 925 and also the Pelican 1510 but i dunno, the Pelican is expensive and i feel like half the reviews are people who just like the brand name. does anyone actually fly with a hard case regularly or is it overkill for a mini 3

also not sure if i should get one with pre-cut foam or the pick-and-pluck kind, i have two batteries and the RC controller so trying to figure out the layout

i have the Nanuk 925 with pick and pluck foam and genuinely love it, took it on like 6 flights this summer including two where i was hiking a few miles in. the latches are solid and it fits under the seat on most flights ive been on. the pick and pluck takes a bit of patience to get the layout right but once you do it its perfect for your exact setup. i did mine with the drone body, 3 batteries, RC-N1, a few ND filters in a little pouch, and still had room for cables

the Pelican is great too but yeah you're paying for the name at this point, Nanuk quality is right there with it for less money imo
