Building my first quad in 2026 and getting conflicting advice on filtering. Enable bidirectional DShot if your ESCs support it?you'll need this for RPM filtering, which is the single biggest improvement you can make to filtering quality. But I've also seen people saying dynamic notch is sufficient for most builds.
My setup: JHEMCU GHF420AIO with bidirectional DShot capable ESCs, Emax ECO 2207 motors, HQ 5x4.3x3 props. Should I enable both RPM + dynamic notch, or does RPM filtering make dynamic notch redundant?
Less blade flex means less variable resonance frequency ? the RPM filter can track it more accurately. Using carbon props, so resonance should be consistent.
