finally landed a clean matty flip after like 3 weeks of trying

ok so this isnt really a question just wanted to share because i was about to give up on this trick. kept either losing orientation halfway through or just not having enough power in the flip and falling out of it. what finally clicked for me was committing way harder on the initial punch and not hesitating on the roll input. also flying it lower than i thought i needed to. once i stopped babying the throttle it just kinda worked. still pretty rough but its recognizable now which is good enough for me lol. anyone else have a trick thats taken them forever to figure out

congrats man. the matty flip is one of those tricks where everyone says its easy but then you actually try it and realize you have no idea what your hands are supposed to be doing. for me the power loop was way worse. spent a whole month on that thing and still botch it like 30 percent of the time. its a commitment issue every single time, if you hesitate its over
