so i saw a post on the local RC club facebook page about a fly-in at Ridgemont park on the 14th, looks like its open to all kinds of aircraft not just quads. was thinking about bringing the mini 3 and maybe the 5 inch if i can get the vtx sorted out before then. anyone else planning on going or been to one of these before? i've never actually flown with a group of people in person, always just gone out solo and kind of wanted to know what to expect

yeah i went to one last spring, honestly its pretty chill. mostly older guys with fixed wing stuff but there were a few fpv guys there too. nobody really cares what you fly as long as youre not being reckless about it. bring more batteries than you think you need because you will end up just sitting around talking half the time which is actually kind of the point i think

ive been wanting to go to one of these forever but every time theres something on locally i have work. let me know how it goes if you end up making it
