so anyway i finally got it after putting it off for like 8 months. kept telling myself id study more before booking the appointment and then just never did. eventually just booked it to force myself. scored a 82 which im fine with. the test center was kind of a weird experience, very sterile, they treat you like youre taking the bar exam or something. they make you empty your pockets and everything. anyway the actual questions ? some of them were genuinely weird and felt like trick questions about airport operations stuff, like taxiway lighting colors and reading METARs. i probably spent too much time on the drone-specific stuff and not enough on general aviation knowledge which is like half the test if not more. if youre studying, dont sleep on that general aviation section. the sectional chart questions were actually more straightforward than i expected. took me about 45 mins to finish and had time to review everything. overall not bad, just dont procrastinate like i did
