the ND filter thing took me a while to sort out too. i ended up going with the Freewell ND set made specifically for the EVO II Pro ? they fit properly and the quality is solid, i tried a cheaper off-

just got an EVO II myself (the regular 8K version not the Pro) and im still figuring out the basics lol so take this with a grain of salt but i was also confused about the arm unfolding order at first
so ive been flying a Mavic 2 Pro for about two years and honestly was pretty happy with it but i kept seeing the EVO II Pro pop up in threads and figured i'd give it a shot when i found a decent deal on a used one. been flying it for maybe three weeks now and wanted to share some stuff since there wasnt a ton of recent info when i was researching.
first thing i noticed is the build feels really solid, like noticeably heavier and chunkier than the Mavic but in a good way? the folding arms on it are a bit different to get used to, you have to unfold them in the right order or it feels wrong, but after a few times its second nature. the rugged orange color is either going to bother you or you're going to love it, i'm kind of neutral on it now.
image quality is genuinely really good. the 6K footage is sharp and i've been shooting mostly in the Autel Log color profile and getting decent results in post. i do feel like the dynamic range is slightly behind the Hasselblad sensor on the Mavic but honestly for the price difference (i paid way less for this used) its hard to complain. obstacle avoidance works but it feels a little more cautious than DJI's ? it'll stop earlier than you expect which can be annoying in tighter spots but i guess thats better than the alternative.
main gripes so far: the Autel Sky app is... fine. its not as polished as DJI Fly, some menus feel a bit buried and i had one random disconnect that sorted itself out after restarting the app. also battery life is listed as 40 minutes but im getting more like 30-33 in real conditions which is pretty standard for these claims.
anyway if anyone has tips or accessories they'd recommend for the EVO II Pro specifically let me know, still figuring out the ND filter situation
