so this has been bugging me for a while and im not sure if its a me problem or a drone problem. basically i'll be flying and around 300-400 meters out i start getting signal warnings and sometimes the video feed gets choppy. i'm in a pretty open area, not a ton of buildings or anything, and the specs say this thing should go way further than that. upgraded to the Nano+ a few months ago from a Mini 2 and never had this issue with that one.

the controller feels fine, batteries are good, i've updated the firmware. dont really know what else to check. anyone else had this or know what might cause it

few things to check ? first, what's your phone setup? the Nano+ uses your phone as the display through the controller and certain phones with aggressive wifi or bluetooth running in the background can cause interference. i had similar dropouts and turning off bluetooth on my phone before flying made a noticeable difference. also check that the controller antennas are actually positioned correctly, they should be facing up and slightly angled out, not pointed straight at the drone ? i know it seems counterintuitive but thats how they work best.

also worth checking if theres any 2.4GHz congestion in your area, the Nano+ uses that band and if youre near a park or neighborhood with a lot of wifi routers it can mess with range more than youd expect. the Mini 2 with its dedicated screen controller is just going to handle interference a bit differently.

had something similar and it turned out one of my controller antennas had a loose connection inside ? like physically loose, rattled slightly if you shook it. no idea how it happened. ended up contacting Autel support and they were actually pretty helpful, sent me a replacement controller without too much hassle. might be worth reaching out to them if the other stuff doesnt fix it, their support has gotten better from what ive seen
