saw it posted on the local RC club facebook page and i'm thinking about going but i dont really know what to expect. never been to one of these group things before. do you just show up and fly or is there like a schedule or something? and do people actually talk to each other lol or is everyone just heads down on their goggles the whole time

they're pretty chill honestly. i went to one last spring and it was mostly just people setting up their stuff and occasionally wandering over to see what someone else was flying. nobody really does a formal thing unless its an organized race event. just bring your gear and dont stress about it, someone will probably start talking to you when they see what you're running

which ridgeline? theres one near me but i thought they had noise restrictions there after like 2pm or something. might wanna double check before you drive out
