ok so ive been trying to wrap my head around the European drone regulations before a trip next month and honestly im more confused now than when i started. i get that theres open category and specific category and whatever, and i know the A1 A2 A3 zones relate to how close you can fly near people but the way its written on the official sites is just... a lot. like i read the same paragraph three times and still wasnt sure if my drone (its a DJI Air 3 fwiw) falls under A1 or A2 by default.
also the country im visiting apparently has some additional national rules on top of the EU baseline which makes it even messier. i registered in my home country already, does that carry over? genuinely asking because i dont want to get into trouble but i also dont want to just leave the drone at home when i specifically planned some shots around this trip.
