had something similar and for me it turned out to be the antennas inside the controller getting loose, not the external ones. there's a thread on the Autel facebook group about it actually. if you're

two years is around when i started noticing wear on mine too. also worth checking if anything changed near your flying spots ? new cell tower, wifi equipment on a building, that kind of thing. 2.4ghz
been having this issue for a few weeks now and its driving me crazy. im losing video feed and sometimes control signal at distances that are way shorter than what the specs say, were talking like 800 meters sometimes less and i get dropouts. flying in fairly open areas too, not like im surrounded by trees or anything.
i updated the firmware last week thinking that might sort it out but still happening. the controller antennas are pointed the right way, ive checked that a bunch of times. honestly not sure whats going on. could be interference but i fly at the same spots ive always flown and never had this problem before. its a version 1 EVO II if that matters, had it for about two years.
gonna try a fresh bind between the controller and the drone tonight and see if that does anything. just wondering if anyones run into this and what actually fixed it for you.
