Just passed my Part 107 exam yesterday with a 78% and wanted to share what the actual test day experience was like for anyone who's nervous about it. The environment is much more relaxed than I expected.
Here's what actually happens: You take the exam at an FAA-approved PSI testing center (800+ locations nationwide). Book at psiexams.com and select "Unmanned Aircraft General ? Small (UAG)". Arrive early, bring valid photo ID, and they provide pencil and scratch paper. Simple calculators are allowed but may be available to borrow.
The actual test interface is straightforward - no tricks or confusing navigation. You have 120 minutes for 60 questions, so about 2 minutes per question.
