getting into more cinematic stuff with my mini 4 pro and I know I need ND filters to follow the 180 degree shutter rule properly. there are like a hundred different brands on amazon and I have no idea which ones are actually worth buying vs just garbage glass that makes your footage look slightly green or something. budget isnt huge, probably dont want to spend more than 60-70 dollars on a set if possible. are the DJI branded ones worth it or is that just paying for the logo at that point

Freewell makes a solid set for the mini 4 pro and usually comes in under your budget. been using their magnetic quick swap ones for a while and honestly no complaints, colors look fine and no noticeable cast. the DJI ones are fine too but yeah youre definitely paying a premium for the name. Kase is another one people swear by but those tend to be pricier. just avoid the random no-name stuff under 20 bucks, had a set years ago that gave everything this weird warm tint that was a nightmare to correct in post

tbh I just grabbed the Freewell set when there was a sale and they work. one thing though ? if you're shooting in mixed conditions where the light changes a lot, the magnetic ones are way faster to swap than the screw on type. learned that the hard way trying to change filters on a hiking trail with gloves on. also worth getting the ND/PL combo filters if you shoot near water or anything reflective, the polarizer makes a noticeable differnce
