so ive been flying my mini 3 for about 6 months now and last saturday the conditions were just perfect, no wind, golden hour, the whole thing. managed to get like 40 minutes of footage before the battery situation became a problem lol

drop the link man, always down to watch lake footage. golden hour over water is hard to mess up honestly but the hyperlapse part sounds interesting, those can go wrong real fast if the wind picks up mid-shot even a little

your buddy is probably right about hovering too long, its a super common thing when youre starting out. i used to do the same thing, just kind of park it and stare. try setting a mental rule like no more than 8-10 seconds on any static shot before you start moving the gimbal or changing direction. makes the edit so much easier too cause you're not cutting out massive chunks of nothing

colors out of camera on the mini 3 are actually pretty solid so not surprised you didnt need much post work
