so ive been running an Agras T40 for about 8 months now doing contract spraying for a few farms in my area, mostly corn and soybeans, and honestly the machine is great but the cost per acre when you factor in maintenance and those ridiculous DJI enterprise support fees is starting to eat into margins pretty bad.
been looking at some of the XAG stuff and honestly even some of the cheaper units like the TTA M8A which ive seen come up a few times on here. the specs on paper look fine ? similar tank capacity, supposedly decent radar terrain following ? but i have no idea how the actual field performance compares, especially the nozzle atomization quality because that actually matters a lot for fungicide applications where droplet size is everything.
anyone made a switch like this or running both? curious if the autonomy on those units is as reliable as advertised or if youre babysitting it more than the Agras
