so ive been flying for about 8 months now mostly in calm conditions early morning stuff and i feel pretty confident but the second any real wind kicks in i feel like a complete beginner again. like yesterday i took the mavic out and it was maybe 15-18mph gusts and i just felt like i had zero control even though the drone was technically stable. its doing its thing with the gps hold but my inputs felt all wrong, overcorrecting constantly, and i nearly clipped a treeline coming back because i misjudged the drift.
is there a way to actually train for this or is it just one of those things where you have to keep doing it until it clicks. ive seen people talk about flying in atti mode to build better feel but that honestly sounds terrifying to me right now. any progression that makes sense?
