so i've been flying a Mini 2 for about two years and honestly was pretty happy with it but kept reading about the Hasselblad sensor on the Classic and eventually just pulled the trigger last month. first thing i noticed is how much heavier it feels in the hand compared to the Mini, which sounds obvious but you dont really appreciate it until you're holding both. the folded size isnt that much different which is nice.
image quality is genuinely better, not just in the way reviewers hype stuff up but actually noticeably better in low light and when you start pushing exposure in post. the dynamic range is ridiculous. shot some golden hour stuff over a reservoir near me and the highlights in the sky just held on in a way my Mini footage never did.
few things i wasnt expecting ? the RC Pro controller i got with it gets warm pretty quick in direct sun, and the obstacle avoidance beeping is way more aggressive than i thought it would be, keeps warning me when im flying near trees even when im like 15 feet away. probably saves me from myself tbh but it gets annoying on tight shots. anyone else turned down the sensitivity on APAS or found a good middle ground setting for that?
