so this has been bugging me for a while now and i cant pinpoint the cause. flying in normal mode and the thing just slowly drifts to the left, not a huge amount but enough that i have to constantly correct. i did the IMU calibration twice and the compass once since im usually flying in a field away from interference. sticks are centered, checked that in the app. controller is on the latest firmware same as the drone itself.

it doesnt happen in sport mode the same way, or at least its harder to tell because im moving faster. but in a hover its definitely pulling left. someone mentioned it could be a motor issue but nothing sounds off and ive done maybe 15-20 hours on it total which isnt that much. running the original DJI FPV drone not the Avata, just to be clear. anyone dealt with this or have a starting point for diagnosing it.

had something similar and it turned out to be a slightly bent prop. like barely visibly bent, one of the rear ones. wasnt making any different noise but was enough to cause a constant drift in hover. worth pulling all four and inspecting them close up or just swapping a fresh set before you go deeper into IMU stuff.

also check where you're doing the IMU calibration, if you're doing it on anything less than a perfectly flat surface it can bake in an offset. i used to calibrate on my car hood and had drift issues for months before someone pointed that out to me. do it on a known flat surface indoors and see if that changes anything. and yeah props are worth checking first since thats the quickest thing to rule out.

the compass calibration location matters too, did you do it in the same field or somewhere else? sometimes if you fly at a different location with different magnetic environment and your last cal was somewhere else you can get weirdness, though usually the compass wouldnt cause that specific kind of drift in normal mode, more likely to show up as yaw issues.
