Firmware Update Bricked My Mini 4 Pro - DJI Assistant 2 Recovery Tips

Updated to the latest v01.00.0500 firmware last week via DJI Fly and now my Mini 4 Pro won't boot. Gimbal hangs limp, LEDs flash erratically, won't connect to app.

Before panicking and sending to DJI, trying DJI Assistant 2 recovery. Connected via USB but Assistant shows "Aircraft Disconnected" even though Windows recognizes the device.

Anyone successfully recovered from a failed OTA update? Heard Assistant 2 can detect partially flashed firmware but need specific steps. Should I try forcing DFU mode or is there a safer approach?

Wait, the gimbal hanging limp during firmware updates is normal behavior according to DJI docs. Are you sure it's actually bricked? Try leaving it connected for 15+ minutes - some updates take forever to complete.
