Updated to the latest v01.00.0500 firmware last week via DJI Fly and now my Mini 4 Pro won't boot. Gimbal hangs limp, LEDs flash erratically, won't connect to app.

Before panicking and sending to DJI, trying DJI Assistant 2 recovery. Connected via USB but Assistant shows "Aircraft Disconnected" even though Windows recognizes the device.

Anyone successfully recovered from a failed OTA update? Heard Assistant 2 can detect partially flashed firmware but need specific steps. Should I try forcing DFU mode or is there a safer approach?

Don't panic! Had exact same issue with Air 2S after botched update. Keep drone connected, restart Assistant 2, sometimes takes 3-4 attempts to detect. Once detected, select older firmware version and reflash completely.

This is exactly why I never update firmware before important shoots. Day-one updates are risky - let others beta test first. That said, DJI support actually handles these cases well if DIY recovery fails.
