what tricks should i actually learn first for freestyle, theres too much stuff out there

ok so i just got comfortable flying around without crashing every 5 minutes which feels like a huge milestone honestly. been flying a 3inch for a few months in a field near my house. i want to start doing actual freestyle stuff but every youtube video goes straight to like split S variations and juicy and all this terminology i dont fully get yet. whats the actual logical order to learn this stuff? like is there a progression that makes sense or do people just kinda throw themselves at tricks randomly

rolls and flips first, full stop. like boring basic rolls until they're clean and you're not losing altitude during them. then split S because its genuinely useful and teaches you how the quad responds when you flip inverted. after that power loops open everything else up. dont skip straight to juicy or matty flips or whatever, you'll just frustrate yourself and it wont look good anyway if the fundamentals arent there

also fly low to the ground more than you think you should, thats what actually builds freestyle instincts fast

tbh i just tried stuff randomly and eventually it clicked but it took way longer than it probably should have. wish someone told me to nail the split S first, i skipped it because it seemed boring and then struggled with everything that came after it for like 6 months lol
