so ive been flying cheap whoops for about 8 months and finally decided to do a proper 5inch freestyle build. did a ton of research but honestly got more confused the more i read. ended up going with a TrueX layout frame, cant remember the exact brand, its some 215mm thing i found on a sale. motors are Xing2 2207 1800kv and im running a F7 stack i got bundled ? think its a SpeedyBee F7 v2 or something close.
anyway the frame feels kind of flimsy compared to what i expected. the arms arent that thick and one of the motor mounts had a slightly stripped screw hole right out of the box which was fun. is this normal for budget frames or did i just get unlucky. also havent soldered the ESC yet because im a bit nervous about bridging ? its a 4in1 and the pads look really close together. any tips before i start melting stuff would be appreciated
