had a pretty bad low altitude tumble last week, hit some gravel at decent speed. the quad flies but one motor just doesnt feel right ? its not vibrating exactly but in betaflight when i spin it up there's this slightly grinding or catching sensation you can kinda see in the motor tab if you watch the graph. other three are smooth. the bell looks okay visually, no obvious bent shaft that i can see, props are fine.

ran the motors test in betaflight and that motor is definitely rougher. gonna pull it off tonight and spin it by hand. just wondering if anyone has seen this where it ends up being something other than the motor itself ? like a loose screw getting into the stator or something. probably just need a new motor but wanted to ask before i order

spin it by hand with no props and feel for any cogging or gritty spots. if it catches at specific points around the rotation its almost certainly a bent shaft even if it looks straight ? they can be off by a tiny amount that your eye wont catch but the bearing definitely feels it. had one last summer that looked totally fine and was actually bent enough to cause vibrations bad enough to shake my camera loose mid flight.

if its smooth by hand but still reads weird in betaflight id check your ESC signal wire on that corner, had a loose solder joint give me a similar looking issue once. probably still the motor though tbh

could also just be debris in the stator gap, gravel crash is a good way to get small rocks in there. ive had motors that sounded and felt awful and were fine after i flushed them with some motor cleaner spray. worth trying before you write it off. that said xing2s arent super expensive so might just swap it and keep the questionable one as a spare to diagnose later when you have time
