Looking at upgrading from a DJI Agras T40 (40L tank) to something with higher payload capacity for our 800-acre corn/soybean operation. Current setup covers about 12-15 acres per battery cycle at 2 GPA application rate, but the constant refilling is killing our efficiency during critical spray windows.
Considering the XAG P100 Pro (50L) or going full commercial with something like the Eavision EA-30X (30L but more robust). Has anyone run comparative analyses on $/acre operational costs factoring in battery life, refill time, and coverage rates?
Most concerned about drift control with higher payloads - seems like the heavier platforms might struggle more with precision application, especially in variable wind conditions. Current T40 handles 7-10mph winds pretty well with PWM control.
