ok so ive been flying the DJI FPV for about 8 months now and honestly love it, manual mode took me a while to get comfortable with but now its second nature. thing is my buddy keeps telling me to try his Avata and i did for like 20 minutes last weekend and i genuinely dont know what to think.
the ducted props felt so different, way more confident flying through tighter gaps and around trees but something about the whole thing felt... floaty? like the FPV has this snappiness to it that the Avata just doesnt match. or maybe i was just used to my own tune. he had it on stock settings i think.
main thing im wondering is whether people who came from the DJI FPV to the Avata ever actually preferred it or if its mostly people coming from the cinewhoop side. also curious about the obstacle avoidance on it, does anyone actually use that in normal flying or do you turn it off immediately
