so this has been bugging me for a couple weeks now and i cant figure it out. flying my Avata and on the first battery everything is totally fine, hovers steady, responds well, no issues. swap to the second battery and within a few minutes it starts drifting noticeably to the left. not a huge amount but enough that i have to constantly correct.

ive tried recalibrating the IMU and compass before flights, doesnt seem to help. both batteries are the same model and both show full charge before i go out. the second battery is maybe 3 months older than the first one if that matters. running the latest firmware as of last week.

honestly not even sure if its a battery thing or if im just noticing something that was always there because im more tired on the second flight or something, but it really does seem consistent. has anyone seen anything like this or should i just send it in

check the cell voltages on that older battery with the DJI app after a full charge, not just the overall percentage. ive had batteries that show 100% but one cell is slightly lower and it causes all kinds of weird behavior. the Avata's flight controller is pretty sensitive to power delivery inconsistencies and it can mess with how the ESCs balance the motors which would explain the drift. if the cells are unbalanced the battery is probably on its way out anyway

could also just be wind tbh. ive convinced myself my quad was broken before and it was literally just a light breeze i wasnt accounting for. that said the battery voltage thing the other guy mentioned is worth checking first, thats a real issue ive seen too. also when did you last do a proper IMU calibration indoors on a flat surface, not just the quick one
