someone in my local flying group mentioned Autel is dropping something new before the end of the year, supposedly a competitor to the Mini 4 Pro range but i cant find any solid info on it. theres like one blurry photo floating around on some forum i cant remember the name of and a reddit thread that went nowhere.

i actually really like my EVO Nano+ and would consider upgrading if they release something with better obstacle avoidance because thats honestly the one thing that feels a little half-baked on the Nano. the camera is great for the price though i think people undersell it.

not really asking anything specific i guess just curious if anyone has seen legit leaks or announcements. Autel is so bad at marketing compared to DJI that stuff just kind of appears randomly

Autel really is terrible at building hype arent they. i remember the EVO Lite just kind of showed up one day with barely any warning and then took forever to actually ship. i saw something on a chinese tech site a few weeks ago that mentioned a new model in the works but the translation was rough and it wasnt clear if it was the consumer line or their enterprise stuff. ill try to find the link but no promises

honestly i've kind of given up trying to follow Autel releases, their product lineup is already confusing enough. but the point about obstacle avoidance is fair ? that was my main hesitation when i was choosing between the Nano and Mini 3. ended up going Mini partly for that reason. if the new one has proper front/rear/side sensing at that price point that would actually be interesting
