So ive had my Air 3 for about 4 months now and mostly been shooting without any NDs because honestly i kept putting off buying them. Finally grabbed a set from PolarPro last week and went out this morning to actually test them and... okay yeah these make a huge difference. I feel kind of dumb for waiting so long.
Was shooting some slow panning stuff over the lake near my house and the footage just looks so much more like actual video now instead of that weird sharp almost jittery look i was getting before. I think i had the ND6 on at like 1/60 shutter around midday which felt right but im still figuring out the whole 180 degree rule thing in practice vs just knowing it in theory.
Anyway my actual question is does anyone have thoughts on the circular polarizer that PolarPro sells as part of their kit? I got the combo that included it but havent used it yet and not sure when id actually want it vs just a regular ND. Water shots maybe? Someone mentioned it helps cut glare but i dont fully understand when it matters.
