okay so ive been flying whoops for about a year and decided to finally build a proper 5 inch freestyle quad. got a Mach R5 frame coming in next week and i already ordered some motors but now im second guessing the ESC situation and honestly the more i read the more confused i get.
i picked up some Xing2 2207 1800kv motors cause someone in my local club said they were solid for freestyle, running 4S. but now im not sure if i should go with a 4in1 ESC or individual ESCs. the frame has room for both i think but ive never done a full build before so i dont even know what questions to ask really.
also soldering ? i can do basic stuff like solder a XT60 but ive never done motor leads to an ESC before. is that actually harder or am i overthinking it? any tips would be appreciated, been watching joshua bardwell videos for like two weeks straight trying to absorb everything
