ok so ive been flying freestyle for about 8 months now, mostly on a 5inch i built myself from a kit, nothing fancy, just a standard stack with a F7 flight controller and some 2306 motors i grabbed on sale. it flies fine but ive always had this nagging feeling that building it myself meant i cut corners somewhere and i never fully trusted it.
anyway long story short i just ordered a Diatone Roma F5 prebuilt because a guy at my local field had one and it looked really solid, welds looked clean, stack was mounted properly, just felt like a quality product. paid more than i wouldve for parts but figured the peace of mind was worth it.
now im second guessing myself because everyone online seems to act like buying prebuilt is for people who dont know what theyre doing, but that seems kinda elitist to me. like who cares how you got flying as long as youre actually out there flying. anyone else been down this road? did the diatone hold up for you guys or should i brace for disappointment
