tried a power loop into a split s today and nearly lost the quad lol

okay so been practicing power loops for a few weeks and finally felt comfortable enough to try chaining one into a split s right after. the idea was to come out of the loop pointed down and just let it flow into the split s naturally. in theory great. in practice i completely misjudged my altitude coming out of the loop and was like maybe 4 feet off the deck before i managed to pull out. quad clipped some grass and one arm got a hairline crack but nothing broke. heart was going for a good 10 minutes after. the thing is it actually looked kinda sick on the DVR so im gonna keep trying it just maybe at a spot with more vertical room

lmao yeah that combo is sketchy until you really have the timing dialed. i do something similar but i give myself way more altitude to work with than i think i need, always end up using it. DVR making it look good is basically the universe telling you to keep going though

hairline crack on the arm is worth keeping an eye on, those have a way of turning into full snaps at the worst possible moment. might just wanna swap it out if you have a spare, carbon is cheap enough that its not worth gambling on it
