Considering upgrading from DJI FPV to Avata 2 but seeing mixed reports on range performance. Some users report Avata 2 only getting 700m range at 15m altitude before signal loss, which is terrible compared to other DJI drones.
The Avata 2 also struggles with wind even in manual mode due to its smaller size and ducted design. While it includes easy Acro mode, it's underpowered for serious acrobatics and challenging to repair after crashes.
What are your real-world experiences? Is the upgrade worth it for someone already comfortable with DJI FPV manual mode?
