tried my first split S today and nearly had a heart attack

ok so i finally had enough altitude to actually commit to a split S and i just want to say nobody told me how fast the ground comes up at you. i was probably at like 30m and thought that was plenty. it wasnt. pulled out maybe 2 meters off the grass and my hands were shaking after. quad is fine somehow. i think i need to practice this way higher until i actually know where the bottom of the maneuver is going to be. anyway just needed to tell someone because my wife doesnt care

lmao yeah been there. the first few times you do inverted stuff your brain just panics because everything looks wrong on the goggles. give it another 50 attempts at altitude and youll start to feel where it ends automatically. also try doing it over a field not your backyard

wait are you doing this on a 5inch or a smaller quad? asking because i want to try this on my 3.5inch cinewhoop and im not sure if the maneuver even looks the same or if its more floaty. also yeah 30m sounds like not enough now that i think about it
