this has been bugging me for a while now and i cant figure it out. every time i fly over or near the soccer complex by my house the RC-N2 connection gets choppy and sometimes i get that video feed stuttering where it goes blocky for a few seconds. happens pretty consistently around that area, nowhere else really.

my flight logs show signal dropping but i dont know enough about reading them to know what im actually looking at. its not losing connection completely just enough to be annoying and honestly a little nervewracking when youre 80 meters up

the fields have big light towers and i think theres a snack bar building with some kind of equipment on the roof but i dunno. do those things cause interference or am i barking up the wrong tree. using stock antennas on the controller havent modded anything

yeah those stadium light towers can definitely cause issues, big metal structures mess with the signal path sometimes especially if you're flying low enough that they're between you and the drone. also wouldn't surprise me if there's wifi routers or some kind of wireless scoring system in that snack bar building adding noise to the 2.4ghz band. try switching to 5.8ghz in your transmission settings if you havent already, it's more susceptible to range issues but way less congested in most areas and might clear up the interference depending on whats causing it

also try repositioning yourself when you fly there, like move so the towers aren't directly between you and where the drone is. sometimes just walking 20 meters changes everything

could also just be other people using 2.4ghz stuff nearby, i had something similar at a park near a rec center and turned out there was just a ton of wifi bleed from inside the building. switched frequency bands and it mostly went away. the Air 3 handles it better than older DJI stuff in my experience but its not magic
