taking part 107 next month and honestly have no idea where to start

so i've been flying recreationally for like two years now and my buddy keeps telling me to just get the 107 already since i want to start doing some real estate stuff on the side. signed up for the test at a testing center about 45 mins from me and now i'm kind of panicking because i have no clue what to actually study. i downloaded like three different apps and bought a book but i dont even know if any of it is up to date. the airspace stuff especially looks like a whole other language to me. is there like a logical order to go through everything or do people just kind of grind through it all at once? also how bad is the weather and NOTAMs section because a buddy said thats what tripped him up

honestly the airspace stuff seems way more intimidating than it actually is once it clicks. i'd say just spend a solid week on reading sectional charts before anything else ? like really get comfortable with the colors and the numbers around the airport symbols, the MSL vs AGL stuff. once that makes sense the rest of the test starts to feel more manageable. for weather i just watched a bunch of youtube videos on METARs and TAFs until i could kind of read them on my own without a decoder. took me maybe three weeks total studying maybe an hour a night and passed with a 92. the NOTAMs section wasnt as bad as i expected but the questions are weirdly worded sometimes so just do a ton of practice tests, like seriously just grind the practice tests in the last week. Gleim and the FAA sample questions are both worth doing.

the real estate aerial photography market is pretty saturated fyi, just something to think about before you sink too much into the cert prep. not trying to be a downer just seen a lot of people get the 107 expecting it to turn into a side hustle and then realize everyone and their cousin already has one now. that said the test itself isnt terrible, weather questions are annoying but passable. just dont ignore the loading and performance section because i almost skipped it thinking it was mostly airplane stuff and got burned on a couple questions
