my tune feels sluggish for freestyle, what am i missing

so ive been trying to get into proper freestyle for a few months now and my quad just feels... heavy? like its not snapping back the way i see in all the videos. im running 5inch props, f7 stack, 2306 motors at 2450kv and the rates feel ok i think but when i try to do a split s or even just a basic roll it feels like its fighting me a bit. ive tried bumping p gains but then it just gets twitchy and weird. not sure if its my rates, pid, or just my flying tbh

classic too much P not enough D situation probably. when you bump P and it gets twitchy thats usually D being too low to dampen it. try raising D a bit before you keep pushing P up. also what does your master multiplier sit at, that makes a huge difference for how snappy it feels without going full oscillation mode. 2450kv on a 5inch should have plenty of punch so id rule out the hardware first

honestly might just be your rates more than pids. i had the same feeling and dropped my expo way down and it totally changed how the sticks felt for tricks. like snappier on center but still had travel at the ends. hard to say without seeing a blackbox log tho
