genuine question because im starting to feel like i either do way too much or not enough. i fly a beta95x and a couple of tiny hawk style builds indoors mostly, maybe 2-3 packs a session a few times a week. i strip them down and check everything like every 3 weeks or so but honestly half the time nothing needs doing.

had a buddy tell me he basically never does anything until something breaks which feels wrong to me but he's been flying the same whoop for like 8 months with no issues so maybe im overthinking it. i do replace motors pretty regularly because i crash into stuff a lot and the tiny motors on these things seem to hate that. but like for frame checks, bearing inspection, screw torque stuff ? whats a realistic schedule or do most people just fly until something sounds wrong

honestly for whoops i'm more reactive than proactive. the frames are so cheap that by the time something structural is actually worn out it usually just snaps and you replace it. i do listen for bearing noise though, that high pitch whine when a tiny motor bearing starts going is pretty unmistakable and i'll swap that motor before it fully dies on me mid flight.

props i check every session just by eye and feel, and i'll replace them if there's any nick or deformation cause with 1s power you really notice an unbalanced prop. screws i check maybe once a month with a bit of blue loctite on the motor mounts. thats about it tbh

i probably do too little honestly. i fly until something sounds or feels wrong and then i fix it. only thing i'm consistent about is checking the canopy and camera mount before each session because i've lost footage before from a loose mount rattling. motors on my tiny hawk have been going strong for ages but i also dont fly aggressively indoors, just cruise around mostly. your 3 week check schedule sounds pretty thorough for indoor flying ngl
